Policy and Rates
Reservation Policy
All reservations must be made by calling us at (319) 636-2422. This is the only way that we can secure your reservation as well as your desired lot.
- No email or online reservations.
- 2-day minimum on weekends.
- 3-day minimum on holiday weekends - payment is required upfront. Labor Day, Memorial Day and 4th of July.
- Group spots - payment is required upfront.
- Group spots- 6 spots are required on theme weekends and 4 spots on normal weekends.
Water and Electric and Full Hookup
– We require full payment when reservations are made.
However, when more than one spot is being reserved, the reserving party will pay in full for all spots under one name, or the reserving party will give us all names, and they will have 24 hours to call and pay. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the spots will be released.
*We will adjust the group and people may be moved if spots become open*
- Credit card guarantees and checks will be processed promptly upon receipt.
- Your credit/debit card institution will charge a fee for all transactions.
- We charge a $30 fee on all returned checks.
- We will make every effort to reserve the site you request.
2023 Camping and Cabin Rates
All rates include free use of:
Heated swimming pool, volleyball, horseshoes, etc.
Scheduled free activities for our guests:
Crafts for kids, hayrides, dances, volleyball, and horseshoe tournaments, kids games, and more. Check our list of scheduled activities.
Miniature Golf has a small fee even with your own club.

Extra persons:
$3.00 per person.
Check-in time: 2:00 p.m. (check-in time maybe earlier with management approval).
Check-out time: 1:00 p.m. You may stay longer to enjoy our facilities, but you must vacate your site.
Cabin Rentals
- No Smoking.
- NO PETS ALLOWED IN CABINS- $500 fee if any animals are brought into the cabins.
- A cleaning or damage fee will be charged to all violators.
- Sleeps up to 5 with 2 sets of bunk beds, 1 set of 2 singles & 1 set of 1 double & 1 single.
- Small refrigerator.
- Air-conditioned.
- All cabins have a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill outside.
- No linens supplied. Please bring your pillows, blankets, towels, etc.
- Check-in time is 2:00 pm.
- Check out time is 11:00 am. You may stay longer to enjoy our facilities, but you must vacate your cabin.
- One vehicle parking per cabin, extra vehicles must use the designated parking area.
Cancellations
- 15 days prior to arrival date: Full refund less $10.00 processing fee or credit voucher for full amount good for current camping season.
- 14 days prior to arrival date or No Show, NO REFUND.
- Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, we do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature.
- We schedule staff and plan activities based on reservations. Understand we cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedule, or other situations affecting our guests and therefore enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.
- This is a family-oriented campground. We reserve the right to refuse groups of teens or young adults not properly supervised.
- Please read and abide by our rules given at check-in. These were made to make everyone’s stay more enjoyable. You are considered a “ No Show” if you are not checked-in by 8:00 pm (unless approved by management). Your spot will be released, and NO refund will be given.
- Early arrivals should notify Morwood Campground & Resort in advance to make sure their site is vacant.
